‘Chronic condition caused by breast cancer – and how doctors are reversing it’

With Symani, lymphedema patients can access surgical repair options that weren’t previously available to them. The Cleveland Clinic recently helped India comfortably return to her normal day-to-day activities after she received surgical treatment with Symani for painful lymphedema that developed post breast cancer treatment. As part of Breast Cancer Awareness month and to recognize the expanded options now available at the clinic, a local news station featured India’s life-changing experience with robotic-assisted supermicrosurgery and spoke with Dr. Graham Schwarz, the reconstructive plastic surgeon who performed the procedure, about the benefits of robotic technology.
