Robotic nerve repair enhances sensation in breast reconstruction

First-in-Europe IBR with robotic sensory nerve coaptation

Adult female underwent nipple-sparing mastectomy with bilateral IBR using implants and ADM. Robotic-assisted nerve coaptation performed using Symani with 11-0 suture on ~0.4mm nerves. Autograft from 4th/5th medial nerve used. Sensation expected to return in 3 months.
